big changes

Hi Guys. I purposely ignored my blog this semester because I seriously could not put one more thing on my plate! But I'm back and I have lots to tell you!! This semester has been a whirlwind of BIG changes in my life and I couldn't be more excited! First things first..... I got ENGAGED on February 28th to the man of my dreams!!! The proposal story is kinda long and honestly I can't remember all of the details because I was so nervous/ecstatic, but I can tell you it was the best moment of my life and it couldn't have been more perfect! I love him so much and cannot wait to marry him on June 20th

Since then, we have been running around with our heads cut off trying to plan the wedding and finish up school!

That brings me to my next big news.....

I just GRADUATED from college!!! Ah the relief I feel is indescribable! It was such an awesome day and I will never forget all of the amazing experiences I had and the life long friends I made. I'm so incredibly grateful for my parents and family who supported me through it all and didn't let me give up. I'm done!!!

Next.....

After a whole lot of stress and my wonderful fiance's help, I got a job! I'm working for Clearlink down in Orem and am so thrilled! We originally had planned on living in Draper and me working in SLC. After a lot of thought and prayers, we decided it would be best to live in Orem while Willie finishes up school. So Utah County.... as ready as I was to leave you.... I looks like the Pratts are here to stay. -For now anyway.

And finally, I have to give a shout out to my fiance and his baseball team for having an amazing season! They are all playing so great and are on a 23 GAME WINNING STREAK! I'm so proud of Will and how awesome he is doing! I can't wait to see how far they can go!

Well that's the readers digest version of the last couple of months, but as you can tell it has been life changing! I'm so excited to see what else is in store for us!

I promise I'm alive

I know it has been forever since I've updated the old blog and when I do it's really inconsistent. I'll try to do better.

I've officially started my LAST SEMESTER!!! Crazy huh?? & it is also one of my easiest semesters. Thank goodness! I have a bunch of electives and freshman classes (college success....as a senior. yep.) So I'll have more free time.... I hope... to blog, run, apply for jobs (yikes), & study for the GRE. This spring is also baseball season so get ready for tons of baseball pictures, updates, and complaints of being a baseball widow. Good stuff.

I am already loving 2012 & think this is going to be my best year ever! So far my New Years resolutions have held up. No diet coke & no sweets. Shoot me now. But I've been strong & we'll see how long it lasts. I've done the "no diet coke" thing before & have never really noticed a difference in my weight, energy, etc. But its healthy to be off, so I'll give it another try! What are your resolutions??

Here are some snapshots of my 2012 year so far...

Freakishly warm weather in January. Perfect for a run.

Colin in his new bow tie

Ordered this hot chocolate only to remember that its a "sweet"

Bold new cheetah blouse from Loft

Finding "new poses" for the camera while ice skating at the Gallivan Center. This is what he came up with. ha.

bits of my break

My Christmas break has been amazing so far. I've been enjoying family and friends and lots of shopping. Grades finally came out and I'm pleased with the results- seeing as it was my hardest, biggest semester ever! Only one more to go! I love all of the beautiful lights, trees, and spirit at this time of the year!
Tis the season.
